Antibiotics for Poultry

Composition:
Each 100 g contains:
Oxytetracycline (as Oxytetracycline HCl )                         50 g

Properties and Mode of action:
• It is a broad spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic from Tetracycline group.
• It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversible binding to the 30 S ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms.

Indications:
• For treatment of Infectious coryza caused by Avibacterium paragallinerum.
• For treatment of Pasteurellosis (fowl cholera) in poultry caused by Pasteurella multocida.
• For treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma.
• For treatment of Colibacillosis caused by E. coli in birds.
• For treatment of Staphylococcal arthritis, GIT infection and enteritis in.
• For treatment of Salmonellosis caused by Salmonella spp.
• For treatment of Rickettsia and Chlamydia.
• For treatment of some protozoal infection in turkeys (Hexamitiasis).

Dosage and administration:
For oral administration via drinking water and feed.
Poultry:     60 g per 100 liter of drinking water for 5 days.
                  400 - 600 g. per 1000 kg of feed for 5 days.

Package:
100 g – 250 g - 1 kg.
